The Reserve is honored to welcome a distinguished panel of speakers for the plenary session “California Serving as a Beacon.” John Laird, California Natural Resources Agency Secretary; Michael Peevey, California Public Utilities Commission President; Matt Rodriquez, California Environmental Protection Agency Secretary; and Karen Ross, California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary will discuss pioneering environmental initiatives from each of their agencies and the impacts they have had on the state and nation. The plenary session will be Thursday, April 12.

The Reserve is very pleased to welcome William Reilly as a keynote speaker for this year’s NACW. Mr. Reilly served as U.S. EPA Administrator (1989-1993), President of the World Wildlife Fund (1985 – 1989) and President of The Conservation Fund (1973 – 1989). He will be addressing NACW delegates on Wednesday, April 11.
The Climate Action Reserve and Thomson Reuters Point Carbon announced the dates and location for Navigating the American Carbon World (NACW) 2012. The carbon event, which will be celebrating its 10th consecutive year, will be held April 10-12, 2012 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Registration is expected to open in November 2011.
